A calm, private journey through your child’s early years.

Your nursery sends scattered updates. Wynna turns them into a journey you can follow — each moment made clear, with a gentle thing to notice next. No scores. No “behind.”

Built on the official EYFS framework (Development Matters — the Early Years Foundation Stage guidance many UK nurseries follow), so the milestones are the real thing, clearly explained.

A little of Wynna’s world — a path to follow, not a scoreboard. An illustration, not a screenshot.

what it does

Three quiet things, done well.

A journey to follow, not scattered updates

Wynna lays your child’s early years out as a calm path — what they’re doing now, and what you might gently notice next. A journey, never a checklist.

Every update, made clear

“Developing in physical, moving towards the Early Learning Goals” becomes a sentence you can picture — what it means, and one gentle thing to try at home.

Yours, and private

No accounts, no cloud, no sign-ups. Your child’s journey and your notes stay on your device — a quiet companion, not another feed.

In plain English

Ivy is starting to join short words into little sentences.

Try at home — narrate your day in tiny steps: “first shoes, then door.”

An example — Ivy isn’t a real child.

Why I’m building Wynna

I’m Alexander — an engineer, and a parent here in the UK. When my child started nursery I wanted to be properly involved: to understand what their key person was seeing, and to follow the same guidance the nursery follows. It turned out to be surprisingly hard. The nursery’s app sent updates, but there was no journey to follow — just moments arriving one by one, from their side of the fence. And at pickup, with coats and bags and a tired little person, there’s never quite time to talk it through.

So I’m building the app I wanted: the official framework made clear, one gentle idea at a time, in a calm record that’s ours — and stays ours.

Your child’s record stays on your phone

The app is local-only — your child’s information stays on your device, with no accounts to hack and no analytics or tracking inside the app. It also keeps an encrypted backup you control, locked with a passphrase only you set. The one thing you give us — your email — is stored securely by our provider (Cloudflare) purely so we can email you at launch.

questions

Asked, kindly answered.

Isn’t my nursery already doing this?

Most nurseries send updates and track the EYFS framework — but the updates can be jargon, and they can’t sit with you at home and say “here’s what to gently try next.” Wynna translates those updates into a few calm ideas for everyday play.

Will it tell me my child is “behind”?

No. There are no scores, no percentiles and no comparisons with other children — by design. Wynna explains what each milestone means and offers gentle next steps, kindly and clearly.

What if I lose my phone?

Wynna keeps an encrypted backup you control, locked with a passphrase only you set — so you can restore on a new phone rather than starting over. There’s no password reset, so keep your passphrase safe.

How will Wynna make money?

There’ll be a free version, and the full app is a one-off purchase — no subscription, no ads. We can never sell your child’s data, because we never have it.

Be ready the day Wynna launches.

Wynna is being built and tested now — coming first to Google Play, then the App Store. One email when it’s ready, then nothing else.
